Original Song from my new WIP releasing soon - Offbeat!

Inspired by Mary Oxendine, my new MC!

I need a new navigation

A new sense of direction

A GPS that makes sense and

Can figure out the back roads

That are off the beaten path

And get me out of the headlights

Where no heavy traffic treads and

Tramples my sight

All I need is God Pointing Steps

To make it through this life

To lead me where I’m supposed to be led

Lead me where I’m to be led

Not this way I’m traveling but the next

Lead me where I’m supposed to be led…

I love and adore music and find that all of my books carry this common theme! I can’t help myself. That part of me seeps through my fingertips and onto a page. Offbeat is about a star who is in the middle of crisis…on so many levels…and needs to find her way back to who she is. Will she be able to make sense of what she’s created for herself or will she need to redefine the line?

I’m only on Chapter 7 so I HAVE NO CLUE what’s going to happen next to Mary, Presley, and the crew that’s now a part of my heart. Let me get back to writing so I can find out. I wanted to share a song she started playing around with in Chapter 2! Hope you like it!
